Good day, I am an advocate of health insurance uptake. Recently surveyed on the awareness and uptake of preventive care in relation to health insurance in Ilorin. The uptake of health insurance was very low, which limited the uptake of preventive care among people living in Ilorin.

I aim to advocate for the uptake of Kwaracare among people and will appreciate the cooperation of the organization in the process. I identified some strategies that can be used to improve it uptake.
1. Community-centered Approach: the community will be involved in developing a policy that will enhance the uptake. Their participation in formulating policy will assist in the promotion of the Kwaracare
2. Co-opting healthcare personnel in the promotion: in the process of taking care of patients they also advocate for how they can access the care without paying much.
3. Involvement of the Religious bodies: collaboration of the organization with churches/Mosques will go a long way in the recruitment of beneficiaries.
I believe this can help increase the uptake as we name to achieving universal health coverage.
