What our Customers Say

Fatima (Petty Trader)

Myself and my family have been enjoying the free health care services provided by the Kwara State Health Insurance Scheme and it has been wonderful. My children were sick and had to be on admission. They were well taken care off and we did not have to pay throughout their stay in the hospital.

Alhaji Alawaye (Road Transport Worker)

I am a diabetic and hypertensive. I always have to worry before I purchase my drugs. Since I joined the Kwara Health Insurance Scheme, I have my drugs regularly without having to pay be out of my pocket. My health is stabilized and I am very grateful to the government for implementing this scheme.

Dr Bukola, MD Delouse Hospital, Ilorin, Kwara State Nigeria

I realize that since the inception of the scheme especially for the indigents, more pregnant women who will normally visit the Traditional birth attendants to give birth to their babies are beginning to patronize the hospital more frequently both for antenatal and delivery.

Currently, I have a patient in bed who ended up having a Cesarean section. This particular patient, I know so well would have ended up in a faith clinic and would have probably end with morbidity or mortality.

This scheme is fantastic. All thanks to Kwara State Government for this health insurance scheme. It is indeed awesome.

Dr Bakare Ismail Afolabi (Cottage Hospital Omupo)

This is a wonderful scheme that I strongly believe can work. It has provided extra source of funding for health facilities to grow, has helped community members to worry less about catastrophic health expenditure, has improved the mental health of citizens and has bolstered our ability to remain self-sufficient in our dealings
This is a wonderful thing and it will remain, marvelous in our eyes.
God bless KHIA, and its partners, GOD bless KWARA state.
